The Vibrant Ramadan Nights at Hayy Jameel Embrace Culture and Community.

JEDDAH: The Hayy Jameel cultural center in Jeddah is hosting its first Ramadan Nights, which include a variety of events like cinema screenings, seminars, food options, and shopping.

The event, open to people of all ages and backgrounds during Ramadan, will take place every Wednesday through Saturday for 14 nights, emphasizing the value of community, culture, and well-being. Samar Allarakia, an artist and designer, said: “I create limited-edition abayas by painting and printing on fabrics exclusively for Hayy Jameel. Each time I sell out, I restock.

Local artisanal products, literature, organic seasonal vegetables, apparel, accessories, and gifts are all available at Hayy Markets throughout Ramadan Nights. The platform gives the creative community a place to display their goods, interact with clients, and spread the word about neighborhood programs that support health, sustainability, and artistic endeavors.

“I am selling souvenirs that are locally authentic and reflect the rich culture of Saudi Arabia and its various cities,” said Rahma Al-Harbi, creator of Sigo and first-time participant at Hayy Markets, to Arab News.
