Riyadh: To promote innovation in logistics, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s Center of Digital Entrepreneurship has started the LogisTech Challenge.
The challenge’s goal is to encourage innovative technological solutions that increase productivity and efficiency, which will propel the expansion of the digital economy.
The challenge is accessible to logistics and technology enthusiasts, professionals, and business leaders in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services, the Transport General Authority, and Infinite Thinking. The deadline to register is December 5.
Participants pitch their ideas to judges on January 21 as the tournament ends. At a closing ceremony, winning ideas with useful industry solutions will be honored.
The challenge focuses on three areas: data-driven logistics intelligence, alternative delivery and commerce solutions, and fleet sustainability and improvement.
More than twenty training courses and mentoring sessions are available to participants, giving more than 250 people the tools they need to hone concepts and create prototypes. Interested parties are encouraged to register at code.mcit.gov.sa/en/bootcamp/LogisTech-Challenge, according to the ministry.
