JEDDAH: The Future Investment Initiative of Saudi Arabia has said that it will arrange two summits before its eighth edition, which is scheduled to be in Riyadh from October 29 to October 31.
Both events are first-time; the first, on October 28, is called the “Horizon Summit” and will be hosted by Saudi ambassador to the US Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan. The second event, on October 28, will focus on women’s empowerment.
The future of work and health care will also be highlighted at the event, which is being held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Centre, according to Richard Attias, CEO and board member of the FII, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
This forum’s subject, “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow,” will encourage conversations about how investments may propel a prosperous and sustainable future while stretching the bounds of human possibility.
During a recent media conference on the fringes of the UN General Assembly in New York, Attias emphasised the importance of these summits, emphasising that they are intended to promote discussion and cooperation on crucial issues impacting international investment and development.
