The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reaffirmed the significance of making every effort to achieve an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and its environs during its participation in the European Council on Foreign Relations sessions, according to the Cabinet on Tuesday.
Saudi Arabia emphasized the importance of striving for equitable and durable peace, as well as facilitating the Palestinian people’s realization of their just claim to the establishment of an autonomous, globally acknowledged state.
On Tuesday, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the foreign minister of Saudi Arabia, demanded “a renewed commitment to dialogue and negotiation guided by the principles of justice, equality, and mutual respect” in addition to an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
“The ongoing violence and bloodshed in Gaza serves as a stark reminder of the human cost of conflict and the urgent need for a durable solution that upholds the rights and dignity of all parties involved,” Prince Faisal said in a virtual speech at the Gulf Research Meeting 2024.
He stated that the Kingdom’s vision for a just and peaceful world was centered on the urgent need to find a solution to establish a viable and sovereign state for the Palestinian people.
Ministers also talked about the general plans and activities being carried out locally, such as improving the quality of services offered to citizens and residents, developing promising industries, utilizing communications technologies, drawing in investments, and boosting national industries.
