Saudi Health Minister Fahad Al-Jalajel started his trip to Australia on Thursday, with visits in Sydney, Canberra, and Melbourne. According to the Saudi Press Agency, a number of meetings are planned to explore methods for the two countries to work together on health, innovation, and health investment.
Meetings with senior Australian officials are part of the tour, which aims to deepen collaborations between the two nations’ health institutions, examine investment opportunities, and discuss bilateral cooperation in public health and healthcare digital transformation.
Al-Jalajel will meet with leaders in the biology and health sectors to review advanced experiences and exchange expertise during the trip, which also includes visits to specialized research centers and healthcare facilities. They will also discuss potential areas of collaboration in the areas of innovation, medical coding, health technologies, and ambulatory services. Additionally, the health minister will meet with Saudi scholarship recipients studying medicine.
