Check Your Health” in AlUla: A Major Step Toward Preventive Care Excellence

ALULA: The AlUla Healthcare Center has started its Check Your Health campaign to get the word out and get people in the community to get preventive screenings to help find problems early. The goal of the program is to promote the idea of prevention over treatment while keeping the community healthy.

Talal bin Faris Al-Faqir, the deputy governor of AlUla; Dr. Bayan Al-Ahmadi, the director of Prince Abdulmohsen Hospital; and a number of government agency representatives and local citizens were also there for the launch.

The program offers 10 important preventive screenings to residents, tourists, and citizens. These let recipients keep an eye on their health, which helps with early detection of disease and proactive management of the problem through a full set of approved tests.

Tests include checking cholesterol levels, measuring blood pressure, heart rate, and blood oxygen saturation, checking body mass index, fasting blood sugar, HbA1c, total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides. The initiative is starting during Ramadan to promote healthy habits when people in the community can go to primary care centers.
