Digital Innovations Take Center Stage at the Inaugural Absher Conference in December

RIYADH — Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Minister of Interior, will attend the first-ever Absher Conference, set to take place in Riyadh on December 18 and 19. The conference will introduce a new vision for digital government highlighting Saudi Arabia’s leadership in digital transformation and innovation as part of Saudi Vision 2030. Organized by the Ministry of Interior in partnership with Tuwaiq Academy and leading global tech companies the event will feature new digital initiatives a technology exhibition and over 30 specialized sessions and workshops focused on technology digital identity security and safety.

A major highlight will be the launch of the Absher Tuwaiq initiative, designed to empower more than 30,000 individuals across the Kingdom by building skilled national technology talent. The initiative includes the first Absher Tuwaiq hackathon offering SR1 million in prizes, and over 80 professional programs in collaboration with Google Cloud, Meta and NVIDIA. Participants will also have the chance to compete in programming challenges through the Tuwaiq Academy platform.

The Absher Conference will serve as a key platform to showcase the Ministry of the Interior’s technological advancements, celebrate digital achievements, and bring together experts government leaders and entrepreneurs to discuss the future of digital transformation in Saudi Arabia.
