Diriyah Company Presents a $63 Billion Construction Exhibition at Harrods in London, Showcasing Saudi History

This month, the Diriyah Company is showcasing the $63 billion mega-development project now underway in Diriyah, the ancient birthplace of the Kingdom, at the upscale London department store Harrods, with an exclusive pop-up display.

With its opening on Monday and running through July 26th, the immersive experience hopes to draw in the 450,000 visitors that are anticipated at Harrods this month. A exhibition of the master plan for the massive urban development project, which when finished will be six and a half times the size of Monaco, will serve as the event’s focal point. In addition to a large amount of retail and commercial office space, it will have four metro stations and hotels.

The Diriyah Company and the Harrods team collaborated to convert the area into an exhibition that features typical Najdi architectural features and a warm color scheme of yellows, oranges, and browns. The exhibition conveys the tale of Saudi heritage and architecture. A display of 350 homes created by upscale companies like Baccarat, Corinthia, and Ritz Carlton is one of the event’s highlights.

Chief marketing officer of Diriyah Company Kiran Jay Haslam told Arab News, “These are the best of the best to collaborate with,” noting that each brand offers something special to the initiative.
