RIYADH: The International Dates Conference and Exhibition is set to take place at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center from Nov. 19 to 28 under the theme “World of Dates.” The event aims to solidify Saudi Arabia’s position as a global leader in the production and export of dates, according to the Saudi Press Agency. Organized by the National Center for Palms and Dates, the exhibition will feature participation from more than 100 local and international entities.
It would promote Saudi dates in foreign markets by showcasing cutting-edge date goods and acting as a worldwide platform for information sharing and market expansion. In line with Saudi Vision 2030, the event aims to promote innovation in the dates sector, raise the competitiveness of Saudi goods, and establish the palm and dates industry as a major driver of economic growth. According to SPA, a scientific conference organized in association with King Faisal University would also be part of the show.
The conference will concentrate on regional and global initiatives to develop the palm and date industry in Saudi Arabia by promoting e-commerce, highlighting the health advantages of dates, and using clever ways to enhance farming practices.
