In the 65th Cambrian Patrol competition, which was held in the United Kingdom, the Saudi Land Forces took home the bronze medal. The competition had 126 teams from 38 different countries.
Activities for the competition, which is regarded as the most challenging international military competition, took place nonstop for 48 hours.
Its activities include crossing rivers, dealing with hostile vehicles and carriers, transporting injured personnel to safe places, issuing orders for operations, putting 16 ideas into practice in inclement weather and difficult terrain, firing, and approaching the enemy.
Notably, the annual international military exercise known as Exercise Cambrian Patrol requires participating units to complete a 40-mile (65-kilometer) course in less than 48 hours while carrying out a variety of military ops and patrols spread across the untamed Cambrian Mountains and mid-Wales swamplands.
