Real-Time Monitoring of Emergency lane Infractions Using an AI-powered System

King Abdulaziz University has finished a cutting-edge study that employs artificial intelligence (AI) to track real-time infractions of emergency lanes on roadways. The “Raspberry Pi” gadget, which uses cutting-edge computer vision algorithms, is used in the system.

The research trains a model on a customised collection of photos and uses the ‘YOLO’ method to identify cars approaching on designated emergency lanes. It is an inexpensive, incredibly effective system perfect for integrating with government agencies, traffic control organisations, and smart city infrastructure.

With the use of a specially created picture collection, the research trains the ‘YOLO’ algorithm to identify cars approaching on designated emergency lanes. This low-cost, high-efficiency system is perfect for integrating with government authorities, traffic control organisations, and smart city infrastructure. Advanced computer vision algorithms are used by the “Raspberry Pi” device, which is used in the system.

In order to reduce reaction times during crises and ultimately save lives, the proposal supports clear emergency lanes.
