JEDDAH: The Ehsass Moonlight Exhibition at Jeddah Park’s Wasl Art Space features 120 carefully chosen paintings and artworks.
Starting on September 10 and running through September 14, the event provides a dynamic venue for established and up-and-coming local artists to showcase their artistic visions.
Abdulkhaleq Al-Zahrani, director general of the Ministry of Information branch in the Makkah region, officially inaugurated the exhibition and expressed his appreciation for its variety and scale.
I’m honoured to have a piece in such a large-scale show with so many exquisite pieces of art. It has been inspiring to meet so many gifted artists and to see their amazing work. The quality of some exhibits is truly remarkable,” he said.
In conjunction with the exhibition, a range of activities, such as live performances, interactive experiences, and art workshops, are also offered.
Workshops on clay and crafts, face painting, mural drawing, T-shirt illustration, cartoon sketching, and live calligraphy by well-known artist Saud Khan are a few of the events.
Participants can also participate in an artist podcast and enjoy piano performances at the Cocoa Lounge. The event offers the chance to buy artwork from the exhibition and appreciate it.
