King Salman issued a Royal Order to Host 1,000 Family Members of Palestinian Victims for Hajj.

RIYADH: On Tuesday, King Salman ordered the hosting of 2,322 Hajj pilgrims, including 1,000 family members of Palestinians killed or injured by Israel or held in Israeli prisons.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, 1,300 people from over 88 countries will attend the pilgrimage, as will 22 family members of conjoined twins who were separated in the Kingdom. The gesture is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj and Umrah, overseen by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance. Since its inception 26 years ago, the program has hosted over 60,000 pilgrims.

Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikhb, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, stated that the order reflects the Saudi leadership’s constant concern for Muslims around the world, as well as its efforts to strengthen Muslim unity and brotherhood by bringing them together for Hajj at the king’s expense. The minister stated that preparations to host these pilgrims have begun, and a strategic plan has been developed.

The pilgrimage will also host people from over 88 countries and 22 family members of conjoined twins separated in the Kingdom, according to the Saudi Press Agency. The gesture is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Programme for Hajj and Umrah, overseen by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.
