RIYADH: The King Fahd Glorious Qur’an Printing Complex in Madinah was visited by the first group of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program for Umrah and Visit.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the visit was a component of a cultural program organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs with the goal of improving the cultural experience for tourists and Umrah performers in Madinah.
During their tour of the complex’s technical and administrative departments, the pilgrims learned about the different phases of printing the Holy Qur’an, preservation efforts, and its translation into numerous languages.
There were 1,000 Umrah performers from 66 nations, including 250 well-known Islamic leaders from 12 countries in the first group. As part of the event, the guests will visit four different groups. The party also learned about this significant turning point in Islamic history by touring the Battle of Uhud site, Mount Al-Ramah, and the Uhud Martyrs’ Cemetery.
Meetings with prominent academics and imams from the Prophet’s Mosque are part of the program. Several visitors thanked the ministry for the first-rate services and thanked King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for hosting them.
