RIYADH: Malaysian Religious Affairs Minister Zulkifli Hasan has praised Saudi Arabia’s Ramadan programs. He said that the implementation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ iftar and date distribution programs in Kuala Lumpur shows how close Malaysia and Saudi Arabia are and how much they care about each other.
The minister spoke at the opening ceremony at the Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque and lauded the Kingdom’s long history of caring for the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah and looking after the needs of Muslim countries, according to the Saudi Press Agency. He called the initiative a kind act that showed the ideals of working together. He ended by praying for the Kingdom and its leaders to stay safe and stable.
The Saudi Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is part of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, started the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ dates distribution program during a ceremony at the Saudi Embassy in Bucharest, Romania, SPA said.
The ministry is sending five tons of high-quality Saudi dates to roughly 15,000 people in different towns and areas of Romania as part of its Ramadan projects that take place outside the Kingdom during the holy month.
