Few Arabs—if any—have navigated the high-stakes corridors of Wall Street quite like Ahmed Almuhr. As one of the rare Arab professionals to build a career at Morgan Stanley in the U.S., he brought not just grit and intellect but a distinctly global perspective to one of the world’s most demanding investment banking environments. There, he sharpened his analytical acumen, mastered sophisticated financial structures, and made meaningful contributions at the epicenter of global capital markets.

At the World Bank, he plays a strategic role in managing initiatives linked to a portfolio exceeding $100 billion in assets under management. Working alongside top-tier investment professionals, he helps shape a diverse array of financial instruments with precision and purpose, balancing global rigor with regional relevance.
Ahmed’s journey is defined by a bold ambition: to elevate MENA’s financial and investment landscape by drawing on world-class experience. That vision led him to make a pivotal decision—leaving a high-potential path at Saudi Aramco, the most profitable company in history worldwide, to pursue a trajectory that would take him through Morgan Stanley, Johns Hopkins Tech Ventures, and ultimately, the World Bank. Each chapter deepened his expertise, broadened his perspective, and reinforced his commitment to financial innovation and institutional excellence.
Now, as founder of “Amplifier Financial,” Ahmed is channeling this global experience into a platform built for regional impact. Focused on empowering enterprises across the MENA region, Amplifier delivers high-impact advisory services—from investment services and capital structuring to valuation and strategic due diligence. His mission is clear: to unlock the latent value within agile, growth-oriented businesses and help them access the capital, discipline, and strategy needed to scale sustainably.
At the core of Ahmed’s work is a firm belief that the future of MENA’s prosperity lies in a vibrant, innovation-led private sector—enabled by robust financial ecosystems tailored to the region’s unique economic realities. Through Amplifier Financial, he is not only advising businesses; he is helping to shape a new era of entrepreneurial stewardship across the region. “When capital is deployed strategically, it doesn’t just grow companies—it transforms economies,” Almuhr shared in an interview recently.
