RIYADH: On Thursday, during the Arab League summit being held in Manama, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held meetings with Arab leaders.

The crown prince had meetings with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, President Bashar Al-Assad of Syria, King Abdullah of Jordan, and Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the prime minister of Kuwait.

In order to fulfil its obligations, he called on the international community to demand that Israeli aggression stop right away and to make sure that humanitarian aid reaches Gaza.

“The significance of seeking a fair and all-encompassing resolution to the Palestinian problem founded on lawful UN resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative, ensuring the Palestinian people’s right to create an independent state within 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital,” the crown prince added.

Syria’s President Bashar Al-Assad, Jordan’s King Abdullah, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, and Kuwait’s Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met with the crown prince.

The Israel-Hamas conflict has dominated the summit, and in a speech, the crown prince stated that the Kingdom “emphasises the need for continued collaboration to confront the brutal aggression against Palestine.
