A New Government is Formed in Kuwait, Led by Ahmad Abdullah Al-Sabah

RIYADH: Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah led Kuwait’s newly formed cabinet, according to a Sunday report from Kuwait News Agency.

Imad Mohamed Abdulaziz Al-Atiqi, Anwar Ali Abdullah Al-Mudhaf, and Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Yahya, respectively, held the positions of oil, finance, and foreign ministers.

Along with Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Dr. Ahmad Abdulwahab Ahmad Al-Awadi, the Minister of Health, also retained their positions as deputy prime minister and minister of the interior and defence.

Adel Mohammad Al-Adwani, who continues to serve as Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Abdulrahman Badah Al-Mutairi, who continues to serve as Minister of Information and Culture, both held their positions.

Nora Mohammad Al-Mashaan continued to serve in her roles as Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister of Public Works. Amthal Hadi Al-Huwailah was named Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs.

Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Communication Affairs Omar Saud Abdulaziz Al-Omar was appointed. Mohammad Ibrahim Al-Wasmi was appointed Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
