RIYADH: In a statement, the Saudi Arabian Council of Senior Scholars stated that obtaining a Hajj permission is a must for Muslims who intend to attend the journey.
According to the council, getting a permit is necessary to uphold Sharia law, make the Hajj easier, and protect the holiness of the Holy Sites. The council has declared that it is a sin to do Hajj without a permit.
It was made very evident that going to Hajj without a permit is not permitted, and that those who do so are committing a sin,” the statement read.
According to the statement from the council, government organizations in charge of planning the Hajj season create a detailed plan based on approved figures that addresses every detail, including security, health, lodging, food, and other services.
According to the statement, there is less chance of injury and higher service quality when the number of pilgrims matches official estimates.
This includes keeping people from doing things like sleeping on the streets, which can make it difficult for them to move around and may even result in accidents from congestion.
