BURAIDAH — In a ceremony on Thursday at the emirate headquarters in Buraidah, Prince Faisal bin Mishaal, the emir of Qassim territory, officially launched fifty-two health projects across the territory. The projects are expected to cost SR456 million in total. Health Minister Fahd Al-Jalajel and several other senior health authorities attended the launching ceremony. Speaking at the event, Prince Faisal conveyed his delight in the development projects completed, stating that they help to raise the standard of healthcare services offered to residents and citizens in the Qassim region.
Al-Jalajel, for his part, emphasized that these initiatives mark a qualitative change in the region’s health services and are part of the ministry’s continuous efforts to meet the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in terms of raising the standard and broadening the reach of health services. In addition to promoting breastfeeding, the emir of Qassim observed the signing of eight memorandums of agreement to promote the region’s population health management initiatives.
Additionally, Prince Faisal bin Mishaal paid tribute to those who helped build community health initiatives in the Qassim Region. A meeting to assess the region’s most important health indicators was led by the emir in the meanwhile. Health Minister Al-Jalajel and several other top regional health officials attended the meeting, which took place at his office.
