RIYADH: The launch of La Fabrique, an artist’s space, on January 22 has been announced by L’Institut francais in Saudi Arabia and Riyadh Art, a project of the city’s royal commission. According to a press statement from the project’s organizers, Saudi and French artists will be able to create, experiment, and realize their concepts thanks to the Riyadh Art Hub in JAX District.
Additionally, La Fabrique provides the audience with a unique chance to see artistic productions such as dance performances, digital and immersive arts, photography, music, film, food, and poetry. Fundamentally, La Fabrique promotes new interactions, shared practices, and co-creation between Saudi and French artists.
The project is in line with the goals of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and French President Emmanuel Macron, who have positioned cultural collaboration at the center of the revitalized Saudi-French strategic partnership.
La Fabrique is a component of Riyadh’s development into a significant global center of culture, rooted in the goals of Vision 2030. According to the press release, the project, which was created in collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture, enhances the two countries’ long-standing cultural exchange.
