According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom opened its booth at the Seoul International Book Fair 2025 on Wednesday at the COEX Convention and Exhibition Centre in the capital of South Korea. Commission CEO Abdullatif Abdulaziz Al-Wasel said Saudi Arabia’s involvement demonstrates the country’s increasing visibility at international cultural events.

According to him, the program demonstrates the Kingdom’s dedication to developing alliances with foreign publishing firms and bridging cultural divides.

The Saudi delegation comprises the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language representatives, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Nashir publishing and distribution company, the King Abdulaziz Public Library, the King Fahd National Library, the Publishing Association, and regional publishing houses.

According to KSGAAL Secretary-General Abdullah Al-Washmi, the expo offers a forum for interacting with those curious about Arabic language and culture. It also provides a chance to highlight Saudi Arabia’s initiatives to maintain Arabic and encourage its application in scholarly and technological domains.
