Saudi Arabia is Elected the 16th Member of the Arab Executive Judicial Union

CAIRO: Saudi Arabia has officially joined the Arab Union of Administrative Judiciary as its 16th member, signing an admission agreement at the Egyptian State Council headquarters in Cairo on Sunday, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The admittance document was signed by Ali Alohaydib, chairman of the Saudi Board of Grievances and Administrative Judicial Council, and Mahmoud Abu El-Dahab, president of the Arab Union of Administrative Judiciary and chairman of the Egyptian State Council.

A high-level Saudi judicial delegation, including Deputy Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Khalid Al-Shammari and senior Egyptian State Council officials, attended the signing event. Alohaydib said the membership demonstrates the strong regional and international status of Saudi Arabia’s administrative judiciary, as well as its ongoing judicial, institutional, and digital development.

He stated that membership would assist in disseminating the Board of Grievances’ experience throughout the Arab world, as well as improve chances for the exchange of expertise, knowledge, and judicial study among administrative justice-focused institutions.

Alohaydib added that the admittance indicates the Board of Grievances’ commitment to establishing judicial alliances, exchanging best practices, and displaying Saudi Arabia’s institutional and digital development expertise.
