Xinhua, April 3, Riyadh Six new mining investment possibilities were revealed by the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources on Wednesday for both domestic and foreign firms.
The Saudi Press Agency said it covers gold, copper, zinc, lead, and silver ores spread across more than 940 square kilometers in different parts of the country and is a part of the fifth round of mining bids for exploration licenses.
The “Al-Halahila” and “Jabal Qaran” sites in Najran, the “Makman Hijab” site in Riyadh, the “An-Nimas” site in Asir, the “Al-Mihah” site in Mecca, and the “Al-Hajirah” site in Asir are among the investment options for exploration licenses.
A component of Saudi Arabia’s 2022 Accelerated Exploration Initiative is the introduction of mining exploration licenses.
The Ministry of Investment and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources jointly introduced the exploration project incentive package. silver ores spread across more than 940 square kilometers in different parts of the country, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency.
Financial facilities for businesses and individuals looking to invest in mineral resource development activities in the kingdom are part of the incentive package, which is estimated to be worth 182 million US dollars.
