Saudi Arabia's civil Defence Warns

Avoiding valleys and areas vulnerable to flash floods, the General Directorate of Civil Defence has advised locals and citizens to exercise caution and look for safe places. It cautioned against swimming in certain locations and emphasised the significance of following instructions made public by the media.

It is anticipated that rain may persist in some areas of the Kingdom from Friday until Tuesday.

The Makkah region may see moderate to heavy rains, dust-stirring gusts, and possibly hail. Moderate to severe rainfall is also expected to impact the Riyadh region.

Furthermore, moderate to heavy rainfall is anticipated in the Eastern Region, Najran, Al-Baha, Aseer, and Jazan, while Madinah, the Northern Borders, Qassim, and Hail are predicted to have light to moderate rainfall.

Residents and citizens have been advised by the General Directorate of Civil Defence to exercise caution and look for safe places, avoiding valleys and areas vulnerable to flash floods. It stressed the significance of following recommendations distributed through different media outlets and cautioned against swimming in these regions.
