RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority has launched the “Entertainment Innovations” program to promote creativity and fresh ideas in the Kingdom’s growing entertainment sector.
According to the Saudi Press Agency the initiative is designed to empower talented individuals and entrepreneurs to create solutions that drive sector growth and boost global competitiveness. Registration for the program is now open with over 100 participants expected to join diverse teams guided by mentors and industry professionals.
The program unfolds in several stages, starting with registration on the authority’s website, followed by screening and team selection for a virtual bootcamp. It will conclude with a three-day challenge where teams present their final projects to a panel of judges. Winners will receive awards and recognition for their work.
Participants will focus on developing their business models, brand identity, product prototypes and go-to-market strategies. The initiative aims to transform creative ideas into sustainable ventures that align with Saudi Arabia’s entertainment sector goals while promoting collaboration among the innovators investors and experts. The program targets three main objectives encouraging innovation in the entertainment industry attracting specialized talent in technology design and entrepreneurship and expanding opportunities for young creatives.
