Saudi FM Reaffirms Kingdom’s Strong Commitment to G20 Partnerships

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan took part in the second day of the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Johannesburg emphasizing the vital role of artificial intelligence in driving innovation and the sustainability across sectors. He called for a governance system rooted in cooperation, respect for international law and protection of consumers and intellectual property to ensure AI benefits all fairly.

This minister highlighted the importance of equitable access to critical resources and investments needed to foster economic growth while this is balancing environmental protection aligning with the global shift toward a green economy. He reiterated Saudi Arabia’s commitment to working with G20 countries to build an inclusive and sustainable economic future that promotes cooperation and shared prosperity.

On the sidelines of the summit Faisal also held meetings with Finland’s President Alexander Stubb and Spain’s Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares to discuss regional and international matters. These engagements is reflected Saudi Arabia’s dedication to the strengthening bilateral relations and the playing an active role in addressing global challenges through multilateral dialogue and partnership.
