RIYADH: Wednesday’s official visit to Jordan included a meeting between Jordanian Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh and Speaker of the Saudi Shoura Council Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sheikh, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The conversation focused on the deep and solid ties between Saudi Arabia and Jordan and how widely they coordinate and collaborate in various fields.
Both officials emphasized fortifying parliamentary relations and looked into ways to improve bilateral ties. The Jordanian Senate’s president, Faisal Akef Al-Fayez, had a meeting with Al-Sheikh the same day.
He praised the Kingdom’s leadership for Saudi Arabia’s impressive economic growth and development. Al-Sheikh remarked on the Kingdom’s continuous strong support for Jordan and expressed gratitude for Jordan’s steadfast support. In addition, the meeting covered a range of other topics and included a discussion of the ongoing cooperation between the Shoura Council and the Jordanian Senate.
