RIYADH: The Cabinet of Saudi Arabia deliberated on Tuesday over the Kingdom’s endeavors, in conjunction with its allies, to strengthen coordinated measures to halt the conflict in Gaza.
The Saudi Press Agency said the talks also included measures to guarantee people’s safety, provide Gaza with humanitarian aid, and secure international recognition for an independent Palestinian state. According to SPA, the Cabinet reaffirmed the Kingdom’s desire to promote international peace and security as well as avenues for stability and growth in the Middle East and beyond.
The Kingdom and several other nations have been holding bilateral and multilateral discussions over the past few days to strengthen political and economic cooperation in a way that advances shared interests and improves coordination on global issues and challenges.
Additionally, it commended the results of the World Economic Forum’s special conference, which was held in Riyadh on Sunday and Monday. It stated that the gathering strengthened the Kingdom’s standing as a top destination for foreign investment. The Cabinet also expressed gratitude to King Salman for supporting the Islamic Development Bank’s golden jubilee celebrations. These reaffirmed the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to the ideals of Islamic solidarity and shared development and its eagerness to continue cooperating with them.
