RIYADH: According to the Saudi Press Agency, an initiative that will provide 100,000 training opportunities to workers serving Hajj and Umrah pilgrims began on Sunday.
As part of the Rafid Al-Haramain initiative, 100,000 public, private, and non-profit workers will receive training to ensure that the services they provide are of the highest quality and leave a lasting positive impression on visitors to the Kingdom.
The initiative is spearheaded by the Kingdom’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and Makkah’s Umm Al-Qura University. The OIC General Secretariat thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in a welcome speech delivered by Dr. Rami Anshasi, the OIC representative, in the opening session of the two workshops. He appreciated the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving the guests of Allah since the era of King Abdulaziz Al Saud – May Allah have mercy upon him – to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince.
The two courses aim to raise awareness among Hajj organizers and service providers, as well as to improve the performance of professionals serving Hajjis in a way that contributes to the success of their tasks.
