RIYADH — In the third quarter of 2024, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD)’s Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) invested SR1.4 billion in training and empowerment initiatives, helping 169,000 Saudi nationals find work.
About 294,000 Saudi men and women were assisted by the HADAF in obtaining employment in private sector businesses during the first nine months of 2024. Furthermore, according to a statement from HADAF cited by the Saudi Press Agency, 1.7 million people have benefited from the fund’s services and initiatives over the same time period.
About 139,000 establishments throughout the Kingdom have benefited from HADAF’s services and products in critical areas between the beginning of 2024 and the conclusion of the third quarter. A total of SR5.48 billion was spent on training and development initiatives during this time.
By adjusting to changing business requirements and the need for skilled workers nationwide, the HADAF helps the Kingdom continue to advance in all areas. In order to empower native talents and increase their competitiveness and long-term presence in the labor market, this entails building up national capabilities, increasing Saudi workforce participation, encouraging private sector collaboration for localization, and fortifying collaborations.
