Riyadh Acting Director General of Passports Maj. Gen. Saleh Al-Murabba attended the graduation ceremony of 713 cadets from the 48th Basic Individual Course at the Passport Institute. The event was held under the patronage of the Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, at the institute’s headquarters in Riyadh.
During the ceremony, Maj. Gen. Al-Murabba conveyed the minister’s greetings to the graduates and congratulated them on completing their training. He praised the comprehensive field military exercises the cadets underwent, along with the educational programs focused on advanced passport technology systems.
He emphasized that the training provided through this course strengthens the concept of homeland security while enhancing the efficiency and quality of services delivered to beneficiaries. The program aims to prepare cadets for the dual responsibility of ensuring national security and offering professional, technology-driven services to the public.
The graduation highlights the Passport Institute’s ongoing efforts to equip its personnel with both technical expertise and field readiness, enabling them to meet the evolving demands of security and service requirements. With their new skills, the graduates are expected to contribute effectively to maintaining security and improving the overall passport and immigration services system.
