The Israeli army announced on Saturday that its air defenses were trying to intercept missiles fired from Iran. According to the reports of the Israeli doctors, one person was injured by the missiles. A 45-year-old man was taken to the hospital in the central city of Bnei Brak for treatment of minor injuries caused by glass shrapnel.
Now, the United States and Israel launched their bombing campaign in late February, Israel and Iran have been exchanging missile salvos. This campaign resulted in the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, and has now escalated into a wider regional conflict.
A statement from the military was sent on Telegram, stating that “defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat. A 45-year-old man was taken to the hospital after receiving treatment for minor injuries caused by glass shrapnel in the city of Bnei Brak, which is located in the central region of Israel, according to the Magen David Adom emergency services.
Afterwards, the army announced that citizens were allowed to leave protective areas around the country, and that search and rescue troops were “on their way to sites in central Israel where reports of impact have been received.
