LONDON: Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani of Qatar and Prince Faisal bin Farhan of Saudi Arabia co-chaired the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council’s executive committee meeting in Riyadh.
Thursday’s discussion examined bilateral and multilateral connections and strategies for strengthening them. According to the Saudi Press Agency, they also talked about enhancing cooperation through a number of measures that might take relations to new heights. Both parties praised the coordination council’s committees’ collaboration.
During the meeting, both ministers reviewed the progress of relations between the two countries and explored ways to deepen cooperation at bilateral and multilateral levels. They discussed several initiatives designed to strengthen joint work and open new avenues for partnership, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The two sides also praised the effective coordination among the various committees operating under the council, noting that these efforts have advanced shared goals in recent months.
The executive committee’s secretariat presented a detailed briefing on the council’s recent activities, outlining achievements, ongoing projects, and preparations for the eighth council meeting. The update highlighted the continued commitment of both nations to building stronger strategic ties.
Prince Faisal and Sheikh Mohammed signed the official minutes of the executive committee, reaffirming their joint commitment to expanding cooperation and supporting long-term collaboration between Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
