Following GACA Certification, Red Sea Global Opens Saudi Arabia's Second Water Aerodrome

Following the acquisition of an operational license, a second water aerodrome is scheduled to open in the Red Sea tourism development, it has been stated.

With the facility opening to visitors in September, tourists will now be able to arrive by seaplane on Sheybarah Island, the location of the Shebara resort.

Red Sea Global’s CEO, John Pagano, received the water aerodrome license from General Authority for Civil Aviation President Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej. He stated that the permit’s issuance is a component of GACA’s transformation program, which aims to increase investment and competition in support of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 agenda.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, Saleh AI-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, was also there.

One of Saudi Arabia’s megaprojects, RSG is expected to have 50 hotels spread over 28,000 square kilometers by 2030 and can accommodate 300,000 visitors annually.

One of the last steps toward revealing Shebara to the world is obtaining this license. Seaplanes carrying visitors will soon arrive at this legendary resort, ready to experience an absolutely unmatched retreat, according to Pagano.
