RIYADH: Next month, an international conference titled “The Role of Universities in Promoting the Values of National Belonging and Peaceful Coexistence” will be held at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh on April 28 and 29 under the patronage of King Salman.
According to the Saudi Press agency, university president Ahmed bin Salem Al-Ameri thanked the king for his support on Wednesday and stated that the event’s goal is to “highlight the experiences of universities in promoting these lofty values and to demonstrate the importance of correct doctrine and the approach of moderation.
He went on to say that leaders, dignitaries, academics, and intellectuals from the Kingdom and other nations will be among the attendees. During lectures, discussion sessions, and workshops, they will share their specialized knowledge in law, science, and society.
