RIYADH: Hassan Alzain, an American environmentalist and Saudi novelist, was honoured Thursday at the 2025 Green World Awards for Innovation for his new book “Green Gambit.” It was a pleasure and an honour to present a Green World Award in recognition of such a prestigious publication that can positively affect future environmental actions,” stated Roger Wolens, founder and CEO of The Green Organisation, which organised the awards.
Alzain and Victor R. Kalimugogo’s environmental health book “Green Gambit” covers several topics related to environmental sustainability, such as climate change and climate policy. It provides a taste of the Industrial Revolution for people unaware of it,” Alzain said.
One of the top environmental award programs in the world is the Green World Awards. The Green Organisation, an independent, nonprofit, and nonpolitical organisation established in 1994 to identify, reward, and promote environmentally friendly initiatives, organises the yearly event. Alzain told Arab News, “Once we finished the book, we wanted to give our readers the assurance that the material in the book has been seen and reviewed by an external judging committee.
