JEDDAH: At an iftar hosted by the Indian Consulate General in Jeddah to commemorate Ramadan, warmth and solidarity were paramount. A prominent group of guests, including representatives of the Saudi government, diplomatic community, Indian diaspora, and leaders from industries including commerce, journalism, and culture, attended the event, which highlighted the topic of sustainability with organic flavors.

He underlined the close connections between his nation and the Kingdom, especially in fields like sustainable development, trade, and cultural exchange. In addition to reflecting on the evening’s theme, “Organic Iftar,” Consul General Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri talked about the consulate’s emphasis on sustainability and the growing significance of organic farming in India and abroad.
In order to demonstrate a dedication to both environmental preservation and health and wellness for future generations, the iftar included a range of meals that reflected the many flavors of India and were prepared using organic ingredients. With further assistance from regional partners like LuLu Group and Siafa Dates, these were provided by the Government of India’s Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority.
