Aramco has established the Aramco Innovation Award, a unique worldwide recognition for robotics design and technology achievement, in collaboration with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team and World Robot Olympiad.
The goal of the prize is to recognize and encourage young innovators who demonstrate exceptional technical proficiency, inventiveness, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking.
The inaugural Aramco Innovation Award will be given out during the 2024 World Robot Olympiad international final, which will be held in İzmir, Turkey, from November 28 to 30.
It will be awarded to the winning team in the senior age group (the future innovators category). More than 5,500 teams and 15,000 students from all over the world will vie for the prize. Forty-eight teams from forty-five countries can win at the international final.
The prize package includes a tour of the AMR Technology Campus at Silverstone, the birthplace of British motorsport, as well as an exclusive Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team Innovation Experience. Young innovators who apply robotics to solve practical problems are honored with the Aramco Innovation Award. By acknowledging these accomplishments, Aramco and its partners are investing in the next generation of tech professionals who will contribute to the development of tomorrow’s technologies.
