Muslim World League Chief Speaks at Second Consultative Meeting in Pakistan

RIYADH: Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa is inaugurated the Second Consultative Meeting with the Pakistani religious scholars in Islamabad underscoring the importance of unity and scholarly cooperation in addressing challenges facing the Muslim world.​

During his address Al-Issa called for collective efforts among the Muslim scholars to strengthen is to understanding and harmony within Islamic societies. He emphasized that dialogue and mutual respect are essential to preserve the spirit of Islamic solidarity and counter divisive ideologies.​

Al-Issa highlighted that the meeting seeks to reaffirm the legitimacy of diverse jurisprudential opinions, a defining feature of Islamic scholarship that has long enriched the Muslim intellectual tradition. This diversity he noted reflects the tolerance and inclusiveness of Shariah fostering respect for differing interpretations under the shared values of faith and wisdom.​

He also commended Pakistan’s religious scholars for their role in promoting moderation and balanced discourse affirming that such cooperation reflects the MWL’s mission to unite scholars worldwide in advancing messages of peace, coexistence and authentic Islamic values.
