JEDDAH An astounding one million people visited the Jeddah Historic District during the first week of Ramadan Season 2025. One of the most notable Ramadan celebrations in the Kingdom is the Ramadan Season, which is arranged by the Ministry of Culture’s Jeddah Historic District Program. Its goal is to revitalize cultural legacy and foster Saudi identity by offering a range of activities with a Ramadan theme.
Tourists take pleasure in a distinctive fusion of traditional markets, heritage cuisine, the arts, and culture. While markets display regional goods and customary cuisine, exploration tours unveil historic architectural legacy. The season’s success supports efforts to establish the Jeddah Historic District as a premier international cultural and tourism destination, which is in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s goals to promote tourism and strengthen cultural heritage. As Ramadan activities continue, more visitors are anticipated in the upcoming weeks, confirming the Jeddah Historic District’s standing as a top destination during the holy month.
