During the 1446 Hajj season, 1,958,076 worshipers prayed in the Rawdah at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, according to the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque. Between Dhul Qa’dah 1 and Dhul Hijjah 29, both male and female tourists are included in the figure.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq and Umar ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them) were also visited by 3,447,799 pilgrims at that time. The administration stressed that these figures are indicative of the whole range of services offered to guarantee guests a straightforward, tranquil, and spiritually enlightening encounter.
It reiterated the Kingdom’s dedication to maintaining the sacred sites and consistently improving the pilgrims’ and worshipers’ experiences, under the direction of King Salman, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Both male and female tourists from Dhul Qa’dah 1 and Dhul Hijjah 29 are included in the statistic.
