The governors of Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Region and Taif held separate meetings on Monday with diplomatic representatives from the United Kingdom and India to strengthen mutual relations and explore areas of cooperation.
In Dammam, Eastern Region Gov. Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz welcomed the newly appointed British Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Stephen Charles Hitchen. The meeting, reported by the Saudi Press Agency, highlighted the long-standing ties between Riyadh and London and reviewed opportunities for collaboration across sectors of mutual interest.
On the same day, in Taif, Gov. Prince Saud bin Nahar received the Indian Consul-General in Jeddah, Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri. The discussions focused as on enhancing bilateral relations and deepening coordination in trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
Both meetings were marked by a friendly, cooperative atmosphere that reflected Saudi Arabia’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with its international allies. Diplomatic engagements such as these because underline the Kingdom’s continued efforts to expand its global relations and foster dialogue with key partners across multiple regions.
