Exhibitions by Saudi Artists at the 38th Jerash Festival in Jordan

From July 24 to August 3, a number of musicians, painters, photographers, and craftspeople from Saudi Arabia will be exhibiting their work during the 38th Jerash Festival in Jordan.

The Saudi Press Agency said on Friday that the three agencies under the Ministry of Culture intend to hold a range of events that would showcase the Kingdom’s artistic diversity.

On the festival’s main stage, groups from several regions of Saudi Arabia, including Al-Hajini, Al-Dahha, Al-Samri, Al-Khamari, and Al-Rabash, will showcase traditional arts, presented by the Theater and Performing Arts Commission.

The Kingdom’s architectural legacy will be showcased in virtual reality at the Heritage Commission’s unique pavilion for the “Year of the Camel 2024,” a digital photo exhibition featuring notable Saudi Arabian UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Additionally, traditional crafts made by Saudi Arabian artists will be on show in the pavilion. These crafts include woodworking, bead making, Asiri weaving, pottery, and palm crafts.

At the international fair site, the Music Commission will establish a pavilion where it will present Saudi Arabia’s “Turooq” initiative. The goal of this is to protect traditional music throughout the nation.
