The Hira Cultural District in Makkah organized a series of the health awareness events throughout October in collaboration with educational and community institutions aligning with its mission to promote public well-being and support Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the initiative featured interactive workshops on first aid and emergency response led by certified medical professionals. Participants received hands-on training in handling cardiac arrest cases performing CPR and managing airway blockages aiming to equip community members with essential life-saving skills.
The campaign also provided a range of health services, including free seasonal vaccinations preventive medical screenings and a blood donation drive that drew strong public participation. These activities were designed to raise awareness about preventive healthcare and encourage healthy lifestyle habits among residents.
Organizers emphasized that the initiative comes as part of the Hira Cultural District’s broader efforts to create a culture of health consciousness and the social responsibility. By combining education and medical outreach the program seeks to strengthen community resilience and support to national goals of enhancing the quality of life for citizens and residents across the Kingdom.
