The rally, held on Sept. 13 and drawing more than 150,000 participants, was followed by 157 reports of anti-Muslim abuse within seven days. Victims said they were subjected to racist insults, including being told to “leave the UK” and “go back to your country.”

Tell Mama, which has been monitoring anti-Muslim hate for more than a decade, also announced it will no longer seek government funding, citing a dispute over resources. Earlier this year, the British Muslim Trust.
