Salman Al-Dossary, the Saudi Minister of Media, has emphasized the significance of coordinating Arab media initiatives to support the Palestinian cause and forward decisions adopted at the most recent Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit in Riyadh.
Speaking in Abu Dhabi as the chairman of the 20th session of the Executive Office of the Arab Information Ministers Council, Al-Dossary urged Arab media outlets to be crucial in bringing attention to important regional issues, such as the results of international conferences hosted by Saudi Arabia, like COP16 and the One Water Summit.
Al-Dossary underlined the importance of implementing a single Arab media strategy to tackle environmental issues and using AI technologies to improve the caliber of content and track viewer behavior.
Heads of Arab delegations and media-related organizations attended the meeting, which also covered issues like enhancing media content, fighting terrorism, and carrying out the Arab media action plan overseas.
Another important area of focus was how Arab media contributes to the attainment of the sustainable development objectives listed in the Arab Media Map for Sustainable Development 2030.
