Italian Health Minister Prof. Orazio Schillaci met with Saudi Health Minister Fahd AlJalajel in Riyadh on Saturday. The two parties exchanged opinions on a number of issues of shared interest and talked about how to improve collaboration in the health sector during the discussion.
The ministers reaffirmed how strong and deep the two nations’ bilateral ties are. They praised the Saudi Italian Strategic Partnership Council’s crucial role in fostering and growing collaboration across a range of industries, especially the medical profession.
In order to support global health security and improve its capacity to handle upcoming health challenges, the ministers emphasised the significance of the two sides sharing knowledge and experience, engaging in research, development, innovation, and technologies utilised in the Virtual Health Hospital, and coordinating cooperative efforts.
During his tour of the command-and-control centre and the Virtual Health facility, the Italian minister commended the facility for its outstanding accomplishments and its technological and digital capabilities.
