RIYADH: Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman spoke over the phone on Thursday about events in Gaza and the Middle East, according to Jordan News Agency.

King Abdullah II of Jordan and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia spoke by phone on Thursday about events in Gaza and the Middle East.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the crown prince expressed Saudi Arabia’s support for the actions implemented by the Jordanian government to preserve the country’s security and stability and expressed his gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s support.

The two-state solution, which ensures the creation of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state along 1967 borders and with East Jerusalem as its capital, is the foundation for any political solution to the Palestinian crisis, as discussed by Prince Mohammed and the King, according to the Jordanian news agency Petra.

Jordanian relations were also discussed between King Abdullah and the crown prince. Per Petra, the king conveyed to Prince Mohammed “his keenness to consolidate them in all fields, and his pride in the level of Jordanian-Saudi relations.”
