This time, presidents and heads of state sent congratulatory greetings to King Salman, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, reinforcing the day’s importance in the Kingdom’s illustrious past. On February 22, Saudis throughout celebrate Founding Day, a yearly national occasion commemorating three centuries of Saudi history and accomplishments. The event honours the historic day in 1727 when Imam Mohammed bin Saud established the first Saudi state, beginning a path that continues to influence the Kingdom’s present and future.
